After installing, press the Android Home button. Your device will ask which launcher to use — select TraderDesk Launcher and choose Always. To change it later, go to Android Settings → Apps → Default Apps → Home App.
Open Market Watch (swipe left from home), go to the NEWS tab, and tap the + FEED button. Enter a name and a valid RSS feed URL. The feed appears immediately and is saved to your device. You can add unlimited feeds.
Go to Market Watch → TOOLS tab, scroll to MY TOOLS, and tap + ADD TOOL. Enter a title and the URL of the tool — any web-based screener, chart, calculator, or resource. Tap your saved tool anytime to open it. No limit on tools.
Tap the ⚙ settings button in the Market Watch header, or use the CONFIG action panel shortcut from home. Go to the DISPLAY tab to choose your preferred monospace font and toggle between dark and light themes.
Go to Settings → TRADING tab. You can customise session names, opening and closing times, and regional market preferences for any exchange you follow — NSE, BSE, MCX, FOREX, or any custom market.
Tap the Focus shortcut from your home screen action panel. The app enters a distraction-free overlay. Press the hardware Back button to exit and return to the desktop.
Yes, completely private. All data — journal entries, custom tools, custom RSS feeds, and settings — is stored only on your device. Nothing is ever sent to any server. Uninstalling the app permanently deletes all stored data.
No. TraderDesk is a productivity and organisation launcher only. We do not provide market data, buy/sell signals, stock tips, trade recommendations, or investment advice of any kind. News feeds show content from third-party RSS sources you subscribe to — we have no control over that content and it is not our recommendation.
Force-stop the app and reopen it. If the issue persists, go to Android Settings → Apps → TraderDesk Launcher → Storage → Clear Cache (this will not delete your journal or custom tools). If the problem continues, email us with your device model and Android version.
Internet is required for the News tab (fetching RSS feeds) and the Tools tab (loading web-based tools). The home screen, app launcher, journal, settings, and Focus Mode work fully offline.
